Experience an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking landscapes of the Himalayas with our Spiti Valley Adventure Tour, starting from Shimla and ending in Manali. This carefully designed itinerary takes travelers through the remote and spectacular region of Spiti Valley, known for its dramatic mountains, ancient monasteries, charming villages, and pristine high-altitude lakes. The journey offers a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and natural beauty while traveling through some of the most scenic roads in the Himalayas.
Upon arrival in Shimla, guests will meet the driver and begin the scenic journey towards the beautiful Sangla Valley in a comfortable 4×4 off-road vehicle suitable for the mountain terrain. The drive passes through picturesque Himalayan landscapes, apple orchards, and charming villages. Guests will reach Sangla by evening and check in to the hotel. The rest of the evening is free to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the valley. Overnight stay will be in Sangla.
After breakfast, guests will explore the scenic beauty of Sangla Valley and visit the traditional Himalayan village of Chitkul, known as the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border. After sightseeing, the journey continues to Kalpa, famous for its spectacular views of the Kinner Kailash range. Guests will check in to the hotel and enjoy a peaceful evening with panoramic mountain views. Overnight stay will be in Kalpa.
After breakfast, the adventure continues deeper into Spiti Valley. The route passes through the historic village of Nako and the dramatic landscapes near Tabo, known for the ancient Tabo Monastery which is over a thousand years old. Guests will reach Kaza by evening and check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, guests will explore some of the most famous attractions in Spiti. The day begins with a visit to the iconic Key Monastery, beautifully located on a hilltop overlooking the valley. The journey continues to the high-altitude villages of Hikkim, home to one of the world’s highest post offices, and Komic, one of the highest motorable villages in the world. Guests will also visit Langza, famous for marine fossils and breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Return to Kaza for overnight stay.
After breakfast, guests will begin the journey towards the beautiful Chandratal Lake via the high mountain pass of Kunzum Pass. Surrounded by dramatic Himalayan peaks, Chandratal is one of the most stunning high-altitude lakes in India. Guests can enjoy a short walk around the lake and admire the spectacular scenery before settling into camps for an unforgettable overnight stay near the lake.
After breakfast, guests will drive towards Manali through rugged mountain roads and breathtaking landscapes. The route crosses the famous Rohtang Pass, offering magnificent views of glaciers and valleys. Upon arrival in Manali, guests will check in to the hotel and enjoy their final evening in the mountains. Overnight stay will be in Manali.
After breakfast, guests will check out from the hotel and proceed for their onward journey from Manali, marking the end of a memorable Spiti Valley adventure.
